Job Description

This is a unique opportunity to join a close-knit, collaborative team where you’ll play a pivotal role in advancing research, supporting clinical excellence and working alongside leading experts from across Europe.

You’ll oversee a varied portfolio including research grants, awards, clinical practice initiatives and specialist committees, ensuring projects are delivered to a high standard while building strong relationships with senior clinicians, researchers and volunteers. This role would suit someone with experience in research management, grants administration or scientific programme delivery who enjoys balancing strategic thinking with hands-on operational delivery.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing research grants and awards programmes from application through to reporting.
  • Supporting scientific and clinical committees, including meeting management and project coordination.
  • Monitoring research funding opportunities and helping shape future initiatives.
  • Coordinating the development of clinical resources, publications and knowledge-sharing projects.
  • Working with international stakeholders to deliver programmes that improve professional practice.

We’re looking for someone with:

  • A PhD (or equivalent research background) in a biomedical, clinical or life sciences discipline.
  • Experience managing research programmes, grants or scientific projects.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Experience working with senior academics, clinicians or subject matter experts.
  • Excellent communication skills and exceptional attention to detail.
  • An interest in healthcare research, scientific collaboration or professional membership organisations.
