These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of Pharmacistweb at www.pharmacistweb.com, including our job board, candidate and employer accounts, Pharmacistweb Pro, learning content, events, career tools, communications and any related services (together, the “Services”).
Pharmacistweb is owned and operated by Orbicus Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales under company number 09842379, whose registered office is at Flat 21 Mistral Sceaux, London, United Kingdom, SE5 7DR (“Pharmacistweb”, “Orbicus”, “we”, “us” or “our”).
Please read these Terms carefully. By accessing the Services, creating an account, posting a vacancy, buying a package or subscription, or otherwise using the Services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use the Services.
1. Who may use the Services
You must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into a contract. If you use the Services for an employer, recruitment business or other organisation, you confirm that you have authority to bind that organisation. “Candidate” means a person using the Services to explore opportunities, build a profile or apply for roles. “Employer” includes employers, recruiters, agencies and anyone advertising or sourcing candidates through the Services. Some provisions apply only to Candidates, Employers or consumers, as stated.
2. Our role
Pharmacistweb is an online careers, learning and professional-development platform. Unless we expressly agree otherwise in writing, we provide technology and content and are not:
- an employer of Candidates;
- a party to any employment, consultancy, locum, placement or other arrangement between users;
- responsible for making hiring or employment decisions;
- a guarantor of any user’s identity, qualifications, registration, right to work, background, conduct or suitability; or
- a provider of legal, regulatory, clinical, financial or medical advice.
We may review, moderate, reject or remove content, but we are not obliged to monitor every listing, profile, message or external link. Employers and Candidates must carry out their own checks before entering into any arrangement. Nothing on Pharmacistweb guarantees an interview, placement, employment, candidate response, course outcome, professional advancement or other result.
3. Accounts and security
You must provide accurate, current and complete information and keep it updated. You are responsible for activity carried out through your account and for keeping login details confidential. Accounts are personal and may not be sold, shared or transferred without our written permission. Tell us promptly at hello@pharmacistweb.com if you suspect unauthorised access.
We may require reasonable verification of identity, professional status or authority to act for an organisation. We may refuse registration, restrict features, suspend or close accounts where reasonably necessary to protect users, comply with law, investigate misuse or enforce these Terms.
4. Candidate services
Candidates may create profiles, upload CVs, set job alerts, use career tools, access learning content and apply for roles, subject to the features available to their account. You are responsible for the accuracy of your profile, CV, applications and other information and for ensuring you have the qualifications, registration, indemnity, right to work and permissions required for any role.
You control the information you submit, subject to our Privacy Policy and the visibility settings and functionality available on the platform. Do not include information that is unnecessary, unlawfully obtained or unsuitable for sharing with prospective Employers. Public profiles must not display another person’s confidential information.
Employers, not Pharmacistweb, are responsible for recruitment decisions and communications. Exercise appropriate caution and never send money, banking credentials or identity documents to an unverified person. Please report suspicious listings or communications to us.
5. Employer and recruiter services
Employers may create profiles, search available Candidate information, post jobs, manage applications and buy job-posting or recruitment packages. Employers must:
- post only genuine, current opportunities for which they have authority to recruit;
- ensure listings are accurate, clear and not misleading, and identify any material conditions;
- comply with employment, equality, advertising, immigration, data-protection and professional-regulatory laws and guidance;
- not state or imply unlawful discrimination or use protected characteristics unlawfully;
- carry out all appropriate identity, qualification, registration, reference, safeguarding and right-to-work checks;
- use Candidate data only for legitimate recruitment purposes, keep it secure and not retain it longer than necessary;
- not scrape, harvest, resell, disclose or build a database from Candidate or platform data; and
- not ask Candidates to make unlawful payments or promote pyramid schemes, deceptive opportunities or roles that pose an unreasonable risk.
We may edit formatting, request evidence, pause, refuse or remove a listing or account that appears unlawful, misleading, expired, duplicated, inappropriate or inconsistent with these Terms. Unless a package description expressly says otherwise, purchasing a package does not guarantee a minimum number or quality of views, applications, candidates or hires. Unused credits or listings expire as stated at purchase and have no cash value.
An Employer acts as an independent controller of any personal data it obtains through the Services and is responsible for its own privacy information and lawful processing. Employers must not contact Candidates for unrelated marketing without a valid lawful basis.
6. Pharmacistweb Pro
Pharmacistweb Pro is a paid membership that may include premium career tools, learning content, resources, perks, events or other features described on the relevant purchase page. Features, usage allowances and third-party benefits may vary by plan and may be updated from time to time. We will not remove a core paid feature during a prepaid term without providing a reasonable substitute, proportionate remedy or any remedy required by law.
If the checkout states that a Pro plan recurs, it will renew at the interval and price disclosed before purchase until cancelled. You may prevent future renewal through the cancellation method shown in your account or by contacting hello@pharmacistweb.com. Cancellation normally takes effect at the end of the current paid period, unless law requires otherwise. Cancelling does not automatically refund time already used.
Usage credits are allocated as displayed in your plan. They may reset at the stated interval, do not roll over unless expressly stated, cannot be transferred or exchanged for cash, and may be subject to reasonable anti-abuse limits.
7. Learning content, certificates and professional development
Learning materials are provided for general educational and professional-development purposes. They do not replace independent clinical judgement, current product information, local protocols, professional standards or advice from an appropriately qualified professional. Healthcare professionals remain responsible for practising within their competence and checking current authoritative guidance.
A completion certificate records completion of the stated activity only. It does not by itself confer a qualification, licence, competency, accreditation or right to practise. A course is accredited, endorsed, CPD-certified or accepted by a regulator only where the course page expressly says so. You are responsible for deciding whether learning is suitable for your needs and for retaining any records required by your employer or regulator.
8. AI and automated career tools
Career Planner, AI CV Review, Job Matcher, Interview Coach, Cover Letter AI and similar tools may use automated systems and third-party technology to generate suggestions. Outputs can be incomplete, outdated, inaccurate or unsuitable and may differ between uses. They are starting points, not professional advice, decisions or guarantees.
You must review and edit outputs before relying on or submitting them. Do not upload confidential, special-category or third-party information unless necessary and lawful. You remain responsible for job applications, statements and decisions made using an output. Employers must not use our tools as the sole basis for a decision that has a legal or similarly significant effect on a person.
You may use outputs generated specifically for you for your own lawful personal or internal business purposes, subject to third-party rights and applicable law. We do not guarantee that outputs are unique or free from similarity to other content.
9. Events, community content and third-party benefits
Event listings may be supplied by organisers. Unless expressly stated, Pharmacistweb is not the event organiser and is not responsible for cancellation, access, speakers, travel, content or refunds. Any booking terms shown by the organiser or ticket provider also apply.
Discounts, benefits, external courses, payment services, social login and other third-party services are governed by their providers’ terms and availability. We are not responsible for third-party websites or services and do not endorse them merely by linking to them.
If users can post comments, reviews, messages or other content, they must be lawful, accurate where stated as fact, respectful and free from confidential information, malware, spam, harassment, infringement and unlawful discrimination. We may moderate or remove such content.
10. Prices, payment and taxes
Prices, billing periods, package contents and applicable taxes are shown before purchase. You authorise our payment provider to charge the payment method you select. We do not normally receive or store full card details. You are responsible for providing valid billing information and, for business purchases, for any taxes or records applicable to your organisation.
If a payment fails or is reversed, we may suspend paid access or withhold activation while the issue is resolved. We may change prices for future purchases or renewals by giving any notice required by law; a change will not retrospectively alter a completed one-off purchase.
11. Consumer cancellation and refunds
This section applies where you buy as an individual wholly or mainly outside your trade, business, craft or profession (“consumer”). Your statutory rights are not affected.
Consumers buying online will usually have 14 days from the day after the contract is made to cancel, subject to legal exceptions. If you ask us to begin supplying a service during the cancellation period, we may charge a proportionate amount for what has been supplied before cancellation. For digital content supplied immediately, the cancellation right may be lost once supply begins where you have expressly consented and acknowledged this as required by law. Where required, we will request that consent separately during purchase.
To cancel, send a clear statement with your name, account email and the purchase concerned to hello@pharmacistweb.com. You may use these words: “I give notice that I cancel my contract for [service], ordered on 2026.” We will process any refund due using the original payment method and within the period required by law.
Outside statutory rights and any refund promise displayed at purchase, fees are non-refundable once a service, credit, listing, course or membership period has been used or made available. Employer and recruiter purchases are business purchases and do not carry consumer cancellation rights, unless we expressly agree otherwise. Nothing in these Terms limits rights relating to services not provided with reasonable care and skill or digital content that does not conform to contract.
12. Acceptable use
You must not:
- break any law, regulation, professional obligation or third-party right;
- submit false identities, fraudulent applications, fake jobs or misleading claims;
- upload malicious code, probe security, bypass access controls or interfere with the Services;
- use bots, scraping, bulk extraction or automated access without our written permission;
- copy, resell, reproduce or commercially exploit the Services or content except as expressly allowed;
- send spam, unsolicited promotions or abusive, threatening, discriminatory or defamatory content;
- reverse engineer or attempt to obtain source code except where law cannot prohibit it;
- share paid content or account access outside the permitted user or licence; or
- use the Services or AI outputs to make unlawful employment decisions or cause harm.
13. Intellectual property
The Services, branding, software, design, databases and content supplied by us are owned by or licensed to Orbicus Ltd and protected by intellectual-property laws. We grant you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the Services for their intended purpose during your permitted access.
You retain ownership of content you submit. You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, copy, format, display and otherwise use that content only as reasonably necessary to operate, secure, promote and improve the Services and fulfil your requests. For public job adverts or contributions, this includes displaying and promoting them through Pharmacistweb channels. You confirm that you have all rights and permissions needed to submit the content.
14. Privacy and communications
Our handling of personal data is explained in our Privacy Policy. Service messages about security, purchases, applications, job alerts, account changes or operation of the Services are not marketing. You can manage marketing preferences through the method provided in the message or your account, but essential service communications may continue while your account is active.
15. Availability and changes
We aim to keep the Services available but do not promise uninterrupted or error-free operation. Maintenance, security incidents, supplier failures and events outside our reasonable control may cause interruption. We may update, replace or discontinue features for legal, security, operational or commercial reasons. Where a change materially disadvantages a current paid consumer, we will provide any notice or remedy required by law.
16. Suspension and termination
You may stop using the Services at any time and may request account closure, subject to outstanding obligations and lawful retention of records. We may suspend, restrict or terminate access immediately where reasonably necessary because of suspected fraud, security risk, unlawful conduct, non-payment, serious or repeated breach, harm to users or legal obligation. Where appropriate, we will explain the reason and allow a reasonable opportunity to remedy a breach.
On termination, your right to use the affected Services ends. Provisions intended to survive—including payment obligations, intellectual property, liability, confidentiality and dispute terms—will continue.
17. Liability
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or your statutory consumer rights.
If you are a consumer, we are responsible for losses that are a foreseeable result of our breach or failure to use reasonable care and skill. We are not responsible for business losses, or for losses caused by inaccurate user content, an Employer or Candidate, a third-party service, or your failure to follow reasonable instructions or verify information.
If you are using the Services for business purposes, to the fullest extent permitted by law:
- all implied warranties are excluded;
- we are not liable for loss of profit, revenue, business, anticipated savings, goodwill, data or opportunity, or for indirect or consequential loss; and
- our total aggregate liability arising from the Services in any 12-month period is limited to the greater of £100 and the fees you paid us for the affected Services during that period.
The business liability cap does not apply to liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
18. Employer indemnity
If you use the Services as an Employer or for business purposes, you will reimburse Orbicus Ltd for reasonable losses, liabilities, costs and expenses arising from your unlawful listing, misuse of Candidate data, infringement of third-party rights or material breach of these Terms, except to the extent caused by our own breach or negligence.
19. Complaints and disputes
Please contact hello@pharmacistweb.com first so we can try to resolve concerns. These Terms and any non-contractual dispute are governed by the law of England and Wales.
If you are a consumer resident in the United Kingdom, you may bring proceedings in the courts of the part of the UK where you live, and you retain any mandatory protections of your home jurisdiction. For business users, the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
20. General
We may transfer our rights and obligations under these Terms as part of a reorganisation, sale or transfer of the business, provided this does not reduce a consumer’s rights. You may not transfer your rights or obligations without our written consent.
If any provision is found invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue. A delay in enforcing a right is not a waiver. These Terms, together with the policies and purchase information expressly referred to, form the agreement between you and us about the Services. If specific written terms for a product conflict with these Terms, the specific terms apply to that product.
We may update these Terms. The updated version will be posted here with a revised date. We will give reasonable notice of material changes affecting an active paid subscription where required. Changes do not retrospectively alter completed purchases unless required by law or agreed with you.
