SUMMARY:Consultation on draft changes to fees 2023
DESCRIPTION:We are consulting on proposed changes to fees\nWe are proposing a 7.5% increase in all fees for pharmacies\, pharmacists\, pharmacy technicians\, and foundation trainees\, including those for registration and renewal\, from April 2024. This means that: \nthe pharmacist renewal fee would increase by £19 from £257 to £276\nthe pharmacy technician renewal fee would increase by £9 from £121 to £130\nthe pharmacy premises renewal fee would increase by £27 from £365 to £392\nYou can see a full list of the proposed fee changes in the consultation document below.  \nWe need your views on:\nour approach to increasing fees equally across all registrant groups in 2024\, to cover increases in our operational costs\nthe impact of our proposal to increase fees by 7.5% on pharmacy staff\, pharmacy owners\, foundation trainee pharmacists\, patients and members of the public\, and individuals or groups sharing any of the protected characteristics\nHave your say\nThe consultation is open until Tuesday 8 August 2023 and the survey takes approximately 5-10 minutes to complete. \nWe welcome feedback from individuals and organisations. This will help us test our overall approach to fee setting\, as well as the specific proposals.
